Good-Life Tours, LLC !!

Good-Life Tours (GLT) has evolved over the past 19 years (since 1998) from the obsession of two "high school buddies" for BIG RED FOOTBALL. GLT owners, Gary Mixan and Bob Kment both have experienced successful business careers away from Husker Football. Gary operates a corporate apartment rental business along with his two eldest sons and was Mayor of Bellevue. Bob spent 35+ years in the banking business and now owns a childcare center with his wife, Mary. Their passion and enthusiasm for vigorously cheering on the Huskers has created an opportunity for "thousands" of fellow Husker fans to experience the sights and sounds of BIG RED on the road!!

GLT has made trips to see the Huskers take on Oklahoma State (at Arrowhead stadium in KC), Norte Dame, Penn State, Pittsburg, Wake Forest, Auburn, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa State, Texas, USC, Virginia Tech, Wyoming, UCLA, South Carolina, Arizona, Washington, Fresno State, Miami, Wisconsin, Michigan, Northwestern, and Minnesota. GLT groups have traveled to the Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Holiday Bowl, Capital One Bowl, and all Big XII and Big Ten Championship games.

While our "road record" is nothing to brag about (16 wins and 22 losses as of 2016), our trips are much more than wins and losses. We have visited Ellis Island, Wall street, Ground "ZERO", the Reagan Library, Malibu Beach, the US Capital, Arlington National Cemetery, ALL National Monuments in Washington DC, Dealey Plaza and the grassy knoll, the Alamo, Touchdown Jesus, the College Football Hall of Fame, Universal Studios, Disneyland, Sea World, the Olympic Village in Vancouver, Santa Monica Pier, Hollywood Blvd., Fishermen?s Wharf, the Navy Pier and Yosemite National Park. We have also taken in a few major league baseball games at Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium, PNC Park (Pittsburg), Dodger's and Angel's Stadiums in LA, and Safeco Field in Seattle. We have also cruised the Potomac River, San Diego harbor and San Francisco Bay and tailgated on Lake Union . . . are you starting to get the PICTURE?!

We have traveled with as few as 10 fans and as many as 120. Our pre-game activities are out of this world as we often partner with DJ's Dugout (Omaha and Bellevue) to provide a "world class" tailgate experience. We never run out of beer, water, pop or wine. Unfortunately we have run out of apples and peanuts on a few trips . . . when Gary was in charge of purchasing.
